Ocean's, Lagerfeld, and THE Festival Must-Have: Biocollasis Eye Cream

The Croisette is still jam packed with celebrities and the buzz around town is about the ‘Ocean’s 13’ premiere tonight. Some of the biggest names in the world will walk the red carpet at the Palais in just a few hours.

It’s been a couple of days since I updated you on who we have been meeting with so here is the latest scoop….

- Rosario Dawson (who is absolutely stunning by the way) came in and picked up the Biocollasis Eye Cream. This eye cream has definitely become a favourite at the festival with the long days and even longer nights!
- We went to the celebrity charity poker tournament at Palm Beach with Shannon Elizabeth and the next day she stopped into the beauty lounge as well. She loved the new Collagen Lip Treatment- which doubles as a great clear gloss!
- Yesterday we sent our friend Steven Soderbergh and his crew a few packages to welcome them to Cannes for the big premiere.
- And a few other names who have popped in over the last few days: Queen Noor, Bianca Jagger, Eli Roth (who LOVES skincare by the way- especially EG now!), Julie Delpy, and Anna Farris.

Today the ‘Torricelumn Girls’ are slathering on the Biocollasis Eye Cream- it truly is a beauty savior after a big night! We were lucky enough to be invited to the uber-exclusive Karl Lagerfeld party held at Palm Beach. Mr. Lagerfeld hosted the party with the likes of Kylie Minogue in attendance also. Nice and Easy

The last couple of days have been increasingly hectic! I never thought such a quaint seaside town would be able to fit any more celebs, press and glitz within its walls. The city is bursting at its seams. It’s a long process to even hook up to a line on the phone- and even then you are almost guaranteed a few drops calls before a conversation is finished!

Sunday evening was spectacular. Elizabeth Grant Skincare has partnered up along with the G&P Foundation out of New York to donate products for an excellent cause. The G&P Foundation held one of the most exclusive events of the festival on the Nice and Easy yacht. The girls ran into Ivana again and had the pleasure of sitting at a table with her discussing everything from EG Skincare to the amazing fireworks set from a ship in the other port. She even explained to us which firework colors were most expensive! We really do love her! I managed to sneak a few pictures of the yacht as we were leaving….

Ivana Hearts Elizabeth Grant

Yesterday we had Ms Ivana Trump come by and meet with us in the Beauty Boudoir. She is a big fan of Elizabeth Grant and has actually met with her many times in Toronto. Ms Trump was excited to see that we were in Cannes and made sure that we would pass a hello onto Elizabeth back in Toronto. I managed to grab a couple of pictures of the meeting from our fabulous photog- Kerstin Alm.



















Today has been jam packed with press. Make sure to watch Access Hollywood, ET Canada, and eTalk for interviews- all next week. The Today Show also popped their heads in again to pick up another outfit for an on-air interview- this time for Ann Curry. We made sure to load her up with a few EG products of course! And, almost forgot- we also had a few cast members in from the new movie '11th Hour'. All in all the EG girls and tres busy in Cannes... but we heart it!

The Scoop so far….

Day 1

- Minnie Driver stopped by in the early morning and received the entire Elizabeth Grant Cannes Skincare kit.

Day 2

- Billy Zane and girlfriend Kelly also popped by the DPA Gift Suite and received lots of swag including Elizabeth Grant Skincare. In Europe, celebrities are not taxed on gifts from swag suites- so everyone was excited to be receiving close to $400 of Elizabeth Grant beauty products.

Day 3 (today)

- Pamela Anderson in Cannes to attend the world premier of her new film, “Blonde and Blonder” forgot her skincare at home. Elizabeth Grant came to her rescue and she picked up several products- also loving the fact that the luxury beauty brand is not tested on animals and is 100% Canadian just like her!

And the race is on!

Today is the official first day of the Cannes Film Festival. The ‘Torricelumn Girls’ have been in France for a few days, but we are already finding ourselves caught up in the excitement. Last year was amazing, but there is a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ in the air- we are getting the feeling that this year is going to be even bigger and better.

The streets are crowded with the most glamorous and ‘Guccied’ in the land. On every beach, bold billboards promote the movies to premier here over the next 2 weeks. The sea is quickly filling up with stunning yachts where there are certain fun parties to be attended :)

We ran into a few roadblocks yesterday during set up when the Carlton Hotel had difficulty finding our shipment. But alas, after a little beauty investigative work- the precious skincare was found.

This morning, we already had the pleasure to meet with the beautiful Minnie Driver. We have some pictures, but will not be able to post them for a few days. And if you remember from last year, we weren’t able to get our hands on the majority of pictures until the end of the festival anyway.

Minnie Driver- oh so sweet! We think she may be using the newly launched Elizabeth Grant Collagen Lip Plumper on the red carpet this week.

As usual, rumors abound- but I have a funny feeling that Elizabeth Grant Skincare will be working with some of the biggest A-list stars yet at this year’s festival!

Roll out the red carpet- it's that time of the year again! Celebrities, directors, producers, and film aficionados will all be flocking to Cannes next week to attend the 60th Cannes Film Festival.


After great success (and great fun) last year, the Torricelumn Girls are heading back to the south of France to work the Style Lounge. This year the Style Lounge will be happening at Nikki Beach and in a private suite in the stunning Carlton Hotel.

Elizabeth Grant Skincare will be launching several new products in honor of the 6oth Anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival. Check back to learn more about these launches.
